A Temple in the Mist

Mount Soma at dusk

Friday was much more laid back. Most of the morning was spent relaxing, before a nice lunch at the one Indian restaurant in Pigeon Forge.

Then it was off to Mount Soma, a Hindu temple outside of Asheville, NC. We got there late, but Shaila’s mom had them hold it open for us to make a quick stop.
It at least provided for some cool photo opportunities.

Wood covered mountains with a cloudy sky
Heavy mist over forested hills
Really great fog photos up in the hills.

Then Saturday I woke up to take some more photos from our Airbnb before the long ride to Cincinnati.

The misty morning view from our Airbnb
A view of mist covered mountains.
More misty mountains

Today should just be the drive back, pretty uneventful. But it was a great trip over all. Learned a lot about how to travel with Suveera, and other than a few misjudged times between feedings where she got grumpy, nothing blew up on us.

Some good info to take into account for our next trip on the books, GenCon at the end of the month. And then the true test a month later, camping.
