Eagle Scout Experience
3 nights in a tent, 4 days without a real roof over her head and just like that, Suveera is a camper.

We had a few weekends without big plans, so we decided to use our time to expose Suveera to the city a bit more. The plan was just to start with the Shedd aquarium, but a rogue Bears game threw Garfield Park into the mix as well.
Suveera got to go to her very own GenCon this weekend! She also promptly had her very first fever. Luckily, I don't think either of those things were related.
So Suveera got to experience her first escape room this weekend in Gatlinburg. Shaila and I try and do an escape room every time we travel, and we didn't want Suveera to be the reason we missed one.
Friday was much more laid back. Most of the morning was spent relaxing, before a nice lunch at the one Indian restaurant in Pigeon Forge.
We got into the Airbnb pretty late Wednesday night, so we couldn’t quite appreciate the view. But there was a lot of driving uphill so I knew we were in for something good.
The first leg of our 4th of July trip, the annual Polk Cousin's weekend. Every year a bunch of my mom's side of the family gets together to meet at a lake house in Neshkoro, WI and spend the weekend swimming, flea marketing, playing cards and just hanging out.
A few days in and I've already made a bunch of updates.
From code blocks, to better linting, to automatic tweets, I've made a lot of small changes to the site.
It's here! My new website. Built using Next.js and Sanity.io, hosted by Vercel. I've wanted to do a refresh for a while now and all it took was having a baby.
Oh yeah, she's here now too!
