Task: Go To London Just To Visit Taskmaster Live

We went to London! Suveera's first international trip. A first time in London for both Shaila and I. I'd been to the UK technically with my Belfast stop on my Ireland trip, but that it was my first time in Great Britain.

We planned the trip as a sort of a lark. It wasn't on the top of the list for either of us, but we fell into it. Mid last year the British TV show Taskmaster announced they were going to be doing a live experience. They were having a lottery for tickets, so I signed us up. For some reason we both thought it would be a traveling show, but when we won the chance to get tickets, we found out it was just in London (though apparently it's run there is up soon and it *will* be moving elsewhere.) Tickets were cheap enough though we figured we'd get them and even if it didn't work out, it wouldn't be a waste.

Long story short, we had some friends from Canada offer to go with us and some friends from Portugal to meet us there, so we set off the first night of the new year.

We did some stuff that was awesome: Taskmaster Live! Stonehenge, The Globe, walking to various monuments, and our escape room, cQ Origenes. We did some stuff that was just okay: Tower of London, the London Eye, and Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese pub. But it was all a net positive and we got to do it with some friends we don’t get to see often. To top it off I won the Taskmaster Live! time slot for our group which actually included a real former contestant, Mark Watson!
